Abstract
The problem of difference between level and quality of people's life during transition from industrial to postindustrial society is analyzed. The results of empirical research enable to make a conclusion that this problem is reproduced to a greater extent due to citizens' orientation on maintaining the attained living standard, and to a smaller extent - because of their orientation on actualization of social innovations and on consuming the innovative types of services.
